The School of Social Research offers two BA degrees: Sociology and Social Work.

Sociology

As a traditional dominant subject in Renmin University of China, sociology has been ranked first in the evaluation ranking for many years. It mainly studies the order and change of society, and is committed to explaining social phenomena and providing macro guidance for social development.There are core courses including Introduction to Sociology,Social Research Methodology,Sociological Theory.

Social Work

As a rapidly growing major,social work is committed to helping with the establishment of a better social policy and service system, training practical talents in social service, and promoting social fairness and justice. There are core courses including Social Work Theories,Social Work Ethics,Social Work Practice.
