On November 25, 2020, the Ministry of Education published a notice on its official website titled 'Notice of the Ministry of Education on Announcing the Results of the First Batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Courses.' A total of 5,118 courses were recognized as the first batch of national top-level undergraduate courses, including 1,875 online top-level courses, 728 virtual simulation experimental teaching top-level courses, 1,463 offline top-level courses, 868 hybrid online and offline top-level courses, and 184 top-level courses for social practices. Professor Feng Shizheng’s course “Introduction to Sociology” was recognized as one of the National First--Class Undergraduate Course. Professor Huang Jialiang, Guo Xinghua, Huan Pingqing, and Zhu Bin from the Department of Sociology served as the main members of the course teaching team.
