School of Social Research Hosts the Second National Undergraduate Academic Forum of Sociology : "Inspiring Learning, Collective Wisdom, Diligent Practice, and Manifesting Virtue"

On May 19th, the School of Social Research at Renmin University of China successfully hosted the Second National Undergraduate Academic Forum of Sociology : "Inspiring Learning, Collective Wisdom, Diligent Practice, and Manifesting Virtue." This event featured a main forum and five sub-forums, where participating faculty and students engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on various topics.

The main forum was convened at 9:00 AM on May 19th in the Room B113 of the Guoxue Hall. Participants engaged in thorough and spirited discussions around the five papers shared by students.

The five sub-forums,including The Digital Society Sub-forum, The Urban Social Governance Sub-forum,The Culture, Emotion, and Gender Sub-forum,The Rural Social Governance Sub-forum,The Social Stratification and Mobility Sub-forum,took place on the afternoon of May 19th at 2:00 PM in classrooms 501, 502, 503, 505, and 513 of the Lide Building.

In this forum, 29 groups of undergraduate students from various universities and disciplines engaged in mutual exchanges, exploring the diverse challenges and issues facing contemporary society. Through their unique perspectives on sociology and keen insights into problems, they demonstrated exceptional academic prowess and solid research capabilities.
