In accordance with the "2024 National Master's Degree Graduate Admissions Management Regulations" set by the Ministry of Education and the relevant institutional documents, our school is committed to coordinating the 2024 re-examination and admission work for postgraduate students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. We will conduct the re-examination for the 2024 admissions of postgraduate students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan through offline methods. To ensure that the re-examination is scientifically sound, effective, fair, and just, in line with the regulations for the re-examination and admission of postgraduate students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan at Renmin University of China, the following is our school's re-examination and admission work plan:

**I. General Requirements**

The re-examination is an integral part of the postgraduate entrance examination. The content of the re-examination is considered a state secret in educational work and is managed according to the state's secret-level matters. Except for publicly disclosed information and situations stipulated by our university, no individual or organization may record, copy, or disseminate any content related to our re-examination in any form. All personnel involved in the re-examination must strictly abide by the relevant regulations and maintain confidentiality over the re-examination process and content.

Candidates should enhance their legal awareness, consciously learn, understand, and abide by the law, and participate in the examination with integrity, refraining from engaging in any illegal activities related to the examination.

**II. Re-examination List**

Based on the preliminary examination scores and the source of candidates in 2024, the re-examination list for the 2024 postgraduate admissions of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan students at our school has been announced on our official website on June 15 (link: [Re-examination List](https://ssr.ruc.edu.cn/tzgg/16a41ac9ae754f8f872b01d4e82115ed.htm).

**III. Content and Form of Re-examination**

The re-examination for the 2024 postgraduate admissions of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan students at our school will be conducted offline and includes the following content:

1. Written Test (Full Mark: 150 points): Comprises a comprehensive professional written test and a foreign language written test, with the comprehensive professional written test worth 100 points and the foreign language written test worth 50 points. The examination time is 60 minutes.

2. Interview (Full Mark: 150 points): Includes a professional comprehensive quality interview and a foreign language interview, with the professional comprehensive quality interview worth 100 points and the foreign language interview worth 50 points. Candidates will draw lots to determine the topics. Teachers will assign scores based on the candidates' performance.

**IV. Re-examination Process Requirements**

**(A) Candidate Preparation**

The school will handle the appointment procedures for candidates entering the campus. To avoid rejection, candidates should not make individual appointments. Candidates must enter the campus with their original identity documents.

**(B) Re-examination Process Arrangement**

Candidates should attend the re-examination on time according to the re-examination time notified by our school. Those who do not arrive at the designated time without special reasons and are more than 15 minutes late will be considered to have given up the re-examination qualification. On the day of the re-examination, our school has arranged a duty phone (phone number: 010-62513355). Candidates should contact our school in advance in case of emergencies.

1. Waiting for Examination

Candidates should enter the waiting state in advance, carefully read the re-examination rules, and abide by the examination discipline during the examination. In the waiting room, candidates are not allowed to talk to other candidates without permission.

2. Identity Verification

Candidates enter the re-examination room according to the order drawn at registration. When entering the examination room, candidates should carry the "Admission Ticket" and identity documents and cooperate with the re-examination teachers for identity verification. The verification process will be fully recorded by the school for reference, and no items other than those specified are allowed into the examination room.

Candidates must arrive at the designated examination room 20 minutes before the start of the examination and present their identity documents. Candidates must prepare their own necessary stationery for the examination.

5. After the examination, candidates should leave the examination room as required by the re-examination team. After leaving the examination room, candidates should not linger near the examination room and should not re-enter the waiting room or re-examination room.

**V. Re-examination Score Calculation**

1. In principle, the comprehensive professional course written test score should be 60 points or above (including 60 points), the foreign language written test score should be 30 points or above (including 30 points), the professional comprehensive quality interview score should be 60 points or above (including 60 points), and the foreign language interview score should be 30 points or above (including 30 points) to be considered qualified for the re-examination.

2. For candidates who have qualified in all re-examination scores, the re-examination scores will be added to the preliminary examination scores with weights to arrange the admission order. The weight of the preliminary examination score is 70%, and the weight of the re-examination score is 30%.

After the re-examination, our school will summarize the re-examination scores of all subjects for candidates and publicize them on our school's website as stipulated by the school. Candidates are advised to pay attention to our school's announcements.

**VI. Admission Principles**

For those who have qualified in all re-examination scores, they will be arranged from high to low in order of the weighted total scores for admission by major direction.

**VII. Violation Handling**

Candidates should take the examination with integrity. Those who violate the integrity and standardized examination regulations during the examination process, once discovered, will have their examination scores or admission qualifications canceled, and if they violate the law, they will be dealt with according to relevant laws and regulations.
