Zhang Youchun is Professor of Anthropology at Department of Anthropology, School of Sociology and Population Studies, Renmin University of China. He is the author of a few books including Medical Anthropology (2011), Poverty, Development, and Culture (2014), Four Collections on Fieldwork (2016) and Illness, Healing and Culture: An Anthropological Approach (2023). He is coeditor of Body, Narrative, and Subjectivity (2020).
